SELF-REGENERATING DRYERS
The double tower contains silica gel that absorbs humidity from the first column while in the second column the regeneration and expulsion of the absorbed humidity takes place.
During the process of expelling the water retained by the silica gel, the temperature is gradually increased with the appropriate electrical resistances to avoid the violent drying of the silica gel.
The silica gel desiccant is very economical.
The tower mounted on any dryer serves to eliminate the presence of humidity in the circuit thanks to the absorbent agent "silica gel" contained in it. Silica gel is spherical in shape, insoluble in water and organic solvents; after absorbing humidity from the air it does not expand and does not become brittle. "Silica gel" is able to guarantee a dew point of -40 °C. The lifespan of the "silica gel" depends on the humidity rate of the materials treated and therefore cannot be quantified.
