Rotary dryers use rotation in combination with drying air to efficiently dry materials. In most cases, rotary dryers are of direct configuration, meaning the burner gases come into direct contact with the material. They can certainly be of indirect type, where the dryer is heated by a gas/air exchanger, to avoid direct contact between the material and the gases.

IT IS ESSENTIAL TO CHOOSE A MANUFACTURER THAT PLANNS THE MATERIAL PROCESSING STEPS IN A ROTARY DRYER DURING THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING STAGES. SAFE - EFFICIENT

As is known in all rotary drum systems with direct exposure of the material to combustion gases, there is a serious risk of fire. The BIOCYL dryer can be equipped with special valves that prevent the flame from returning, conveying it through a safety chimney to the atmosphere above until the flame stops inside due to the interruption of the material supply inside and lack of oxygen since the oxygen supply is interrupted by simultaneously operating the safety chimney outlet valves.

LOW OPERATING COST

The dryer cylinder can be made of steel or stainless steel. The outer part remains insulated by special insulating concrete to ensure that the heat does not escape. The burner is the soul of any dryer, which provides the required energy. The burners are designed for biomass as fuel, with a moving grate system.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINABILITY

The burner provides the required energy, using any type of biomass as fuel, even if wet, processing waste or other, thanks to the moving grate system identical to that of waste incineration systems.
